2、 Exhibition background
In 2022, China's total import and export value of goods trade was 42.07 trillion yuan, with exports reaching 23.97 trillion yuan. The foreign trade import and export increased by 7.7% year-on-year in 2021. Among them, cross-border e-commerce imports and exports amounted to 2.11 trillion yuan, with exports increasing by 11.7% year-on-year. Faced with the complex and ever-changing external environment, as well as the continued downward trend of consumption in traditional overseas markets, the challenges faced by China's traditional foreign trade enterprises in exporting have further increased. However, as a new force in China's foreign trade, cross-border e-commerce still maintains an upward trend in exports, with full momentum and strong growth trends. As of now, the total number of cross-border e-commerce pilot zones in China has reached 165, covering 31 provinces, showing the characteristics of expanding from coastal areas in the east and south to inland provinces, and from central cities and provincial capitals to second and third tier cities.
The 2024 CHWE Overseas Network Global Cross border E-commerce Exhibition (Shenzhen) will continue the glory of the 2023 Shenzhen and Guangzhou exhibitions. The exhibition ecology will be comprehensively upgraded, focusing on the development ecology of cross-border e-commerce at home and abroad. The aim is to build an industry exchange and cooperation platform, with one end connecting China's supply chain and the other connecting global consumer demand, fully empowering China's cross-border industry to go global, allowing Chinese brands to seize new windows and opportunities for overseas expansion, and thus achieve rapid development and winding paths.
